Me and my coworkers are stuck
in our call-centre office for over 8 hours a day but we’re not the ones making
the calls - our job is administration of their work. We complained constantly about
the perpetual din in our open-plan space and so, when the boss said we could
listen to music whilst working, I started a mission to find the best
noise-cancelling headphones I could find at a reasonable price. I tried to get
the boss to contribute to the cost, but no joy there ho ho. Previous experience
of headphones actually for me was only in-ear because they came with the phone.
Apple do good ones, I used them straight from the box and I don’t earn a lot so
it’s not that I didn’t want better ones, just that they were okay at the time.
Now I could play my music in the workplace I knew I was moving on to another
level and this was an exciting prospect.
So when I got down to the mall with a good
idea of what I was looking for I was knocked sideways when I came across the
Bohm B76s. It really matched all I wanted - quality, comfort and cost factors
and all coming in at a top level of less than 150. For fun I tried the BOSE QC35s and the differences were there but not so obvious
that I was disappointed with the B76s - and they’re within my budget so I
didn’t dwell on them! Now, I’m absolutely happy with the Bohm B76s and here’s
why. The main reason of course is the noise cancellation of these headphones
really works like magic. The hubbub and low-key chaos is effectively removed as
soon as my tunes kick in. This allows me to concentrate better on the tasks I
have in hand so my work productivity is improved.
On the comfort side of things,
they’re not too tight but they fit snug and they're just the right size - I
have a normal head (so I’m told!) and I do recommend these Bohm B76s for fit.
Bluetooth is perfect and easy. They’re so much a part of me now that people see
me walking in to work with them on already - here’s an unexpected plus as well
- on cold days these phones keep me warm! Thanks to https://dj-equipment-hq.com/dj-equipment-beginners-guide/ for helping with this post.
